Message from the Pastor

Whether you intentionally came to this website, or you found it while surfing looking for something else, we are grateful you have found us. Please take a few minutes and peruse our site.

The Lucerne Community Church is a non-denominational church that is independently governed using the Bible as our source authority in all things. We believe the scripture teaches the appointment of local individuals as Elders, or overseers, of the church. In 2017 our church sought the assistance of an experienced pastor following the departure of its former Pastor. My wife, Diana, and I answered the call of the Lord in March of 2017 to serve as the new Pastor of the Lucerne church.

Because we are not a part of a large denomination, we decide what topics to study and what needs our local congregation has. Our worship is simple and Christ centered. If you choose to worship with us, do not be surprised if someone gives you a godly hug. We love the Lord because He first loved us and gave His life for us. And we love you because He loves us.

Our monthly activities include a movie night held on the first Friday night of each month at 5:30 p.m., hot dogs, chips, and a soda are sold and a free bag of popcorn is served to all who attend. A monthly breakfast is held on the second Saturday of each month at 9:00. Bible classes are held for all age groups on Sunday morning at 9:45 in our fellowship hall and classrooms. A Wednesday night Bible Study is held in the clubhouse of a local manufactured home park. Please call the church office at (707) 274-8326 for further information on meeting times and addresses of other activities.

In His Love,

Pastor Dwight <><
